Truss Barn

The Truss Barn.

The barn featured is a Winkler Structures 60 x 200 Truss Barn. It is installed on a 10ft pony wall with roll up curtains on both sides. It is used for loose housing dairy cattle.
This particular dairy barn is in Manitoba, Canada. It is located not to many miles from the Winkler Structures factory. www.winklercanvasbldg.com

We hope to have more data collected from the farm as to increased milk production, and somatic cell.

The trusses vary in diameter of pipe and depth of truss depending on the width of the building. Winkler structures / Winkler Canvas manufactures all their own trusses, and tarps. This gives them hands on control of their quality and design.
Winkler structure has seen the increase popularity for the truss arch buildings in the dairy barn, and the beef cattle barns over the past couple of years. They are also commonly called hoop barns, or fabric covered barns.

Check back for updates.
