The Truss Barn.

The barn featured is a Winkler Structures 60 x 200 Truss Barn. It is installed on a 10ft pony wall with roll up curtains on both sides. It is used for loose housing dairy cattle.

We hope to have more data collected from the farm as to increased milk production, and somatic cell.

The trusses vary in diameter of pipe and depth of truss depending on the width of the building. Winkler structures / Winkler Canvas manufactures all their own trusses, and tarps. This gives them hands on control of their quality and design.

The beef cattle and the Dairy cattle housing barns are the lattest industries moving forward with the fabric covered buildings. They see the benifits, and results they are looking for.

Remember NOT all buildings are the same. Do your homework, and ask a lot of questions as to amount of steel used, after sale service available, and warranties. The lowest price usually isn't the best deal. Winkler Structures offers up to 30% more steel in the truss buildings than some of their competition. Winkler is not usually the lowest price, but you will get what you paid for.
